better hire. Recruits don't necessarily need to love the HC. They spend way more time with their position coaches and coordinators anyway. And while Anae has certainly kept us out of the running for some recruits, he has also helped us land some others (like 4* OL from Oregon not too long back). But that's going to be the case with any coach/recruiter. Different kids/different coaches/different personalities.

But I believe the product on the field as well as the accountability on/off of it would have been much better than what we've seen.
