She was real nasty about it. Says I give the kids too much screen time as it is, don’t do enough school work with them, don’t help around the house enough with cleaning, cooking and laundry, don’t take care of the “Manly” things enough (stuff like yard work, fixing things around the house, cleaning out garages and storage sheds).
I bought it as a family gift, but really I just wanted to play on it myself. She saw right though it, and knew I was already wasting too much time on cougarboard and watching BYU sports, and I didn’t deserve to play more video games. So she made me return it.
And now she just went out and bought a Nintendo switch for my sons 12th birthday this month. (Refurbished Xbox one was $100, Switch was $300)
17th anniversary this June, we’ll see how much longer this keeps going.
