Well, BYU did go 60 years in a conference without winning a NC
So up until 84 BYU could’ve argued that being in a conference was the reason they didn’t win a NC. Penn State, Miami and others were independent and winning NC.
According to your logic there was good evidence that conference affiliation was worse for BYU then.
Life as Indy sucks. Agreed. But you have zero evidence that G5 is better. Don’t use faulty logic to try and prove something GM that you can’t prove.
If you want to say that YOU will be happier if BYU joined a G5 fine. But don’t pretend it would be better.
