they don’t have you on the list at all, how should the restaurant respond? There’s a walk in wait of one hour.
First the girl said it wasn’t her we talked to so don’t blame her. Then tells us the wait is an hour but they “might be able to get it down to 30-40 mins”. How would you respond as the customer?

For managers: lesson#1– if you wear a badge w/ the name of restaurant on it, it’s you. Don’t try to deflect or throw someone else under the bus.
#2 If you mess up, do better than skimming a few minutes off and especially don’t make it sound like the customer should feel grateful to get that.
