I'm intellectually incapable of criticizing any Nicholas Cage movie. He could starr in a dumpster fire
like, I don't know, most of the Marvel movies, and he'd turn the movie into a fantastic must-watch cinematic journey.

True. But they are good in spite of Cage, not because of him.

I’m actually shocked they didn’t go bankrupt after the sequel.

Cost $130 million. Made $457.4 million. They did all right.

Never actually saw it. I’ve slightly enjoyed a movie or two that featured him.

He's also won a Best Actor Oscar, and was nominated another time.

See that's the problem. Cage is a misunderstood genius. Nicholas Cage doesn't act. He just is.
