My mind actually has like a 3d "workspace". So when I'm talking to someone and describing concepts, those concepts
actually sit somewhere relative to me in physical space. It's kinda like when you're talking about some other city and when you mention that city you gesture in the general geographical direction of that city, only I do it with ethereal things as well. Like in computer science if I'm describing portions of a system I may gesture over to my left where I'm mentally picturing some piece of the design, and throughout a long conversation, that piece will always be to my left and I'll keep gesturing over there. It really confuses people sometimes because they keep seeing my gesture in some direction that to them is completely random, but to me it's like it's physically there.

I can also close my eyes and see still frames and even moving images of things that I remember. I can't imagine what it would be like to not be able to do that. Actually I can, I can picture it in my minds eye. And I can rotate it in 3 dimensions.
