This post was not about discrediting Bronco. As I said, he took a better job and is having success, and that’s awesome.
But the constant Bronco > Kalani posts are just getting ridiculous. Bronco had 1 10-3 season and 1 9-4 season during the Independence era. Kalani has had 1 9-4 and is likely getting his second this season, and there are a lot of variables to consider for both of their successes and failures at BYU.
I just don’t see the point in continually dwelling on Bronco and immortalizing him as the one that got away. Especially when you consider if you take away the 2017 debacle, the results between him and Kalani are pretty similar.
