CB earlier this yr: Utah overrated, won’t win division. Will never win the Pac.

CB now: Utah has ZERO shot at playoffs.

I actually am a somewhat knowledgeable fan (time permitting - had to sacrifice a lot of sports time due to chosen profession). Yes, the odds aren’t good, but they aren’t exactly zero. Yes USC loss means Utah does not control destiny. But teams like Alabama, OK also do not control their own destiny. A #5/#6 CCG Pac winner has a shot at it because that winner can move up. It will take a lot, such as ONE Clemson loss, but it can happen. Which is crazy, I thought Utah lost the South division with the USC loss. And Pac isn’t terrible this yr, look at their record against the other P5’s this yr. Experts and decision makers recognizing that.
But overall I agree with you - it’s a long shot.
But clearly not as long as BYU making the CFP while in Independence.
