Boise has put a good product on the field, and far less restrictions on who they can recruit. If they had the nationwide fanbase we have to support Independance, they would be better for it too.

Their past history, high profile wins, and overall winning culture, combined with no honor code and easy admission standards, give them significant recruiting advantages over BYU. They recruit the kinds of kids in California and Texas that would never consider BYU.
