Yes... I don’t want to watch it. If Ken wants to run another offense I’m on
board with Ken. I have no desire to see the wishbone at BYU ever.

The second Ken Niumatalolo becomes HC is the second I’m gone. I refuse to watch

Just win dude. If BYU runs the wishbone and wins, I don't care.

Nope. Never want to see the wishbone at BYU.

BM Holmoe. I’m sure he wants to know.

Phew. good thing Navy doesn't run it, glad to still have you on board brother!

In all honesty, it might be a decent fit for BYU.

Those offenses are designed for undersized linemen, the opposite of what we get.

So, you don’t view football as entertainment?
Nogi-oshi
10/14/19 2:15pm
Perhaps your definition of entertainment differs from his. That's OK.
Eddie

For me, the entertainment of football actually comes from football. A win in and

Some people like romcoms, some people like action flicks.
Eddie

But putting the W over the actual game is like a person saying she likes romcoms

Not exactly.

But that wasn’t the statement. The statement that I questioned was that it

So - what you're telling me is that you've never seen a movie or TV show...

You continue to miss the point. I'll give this one more try.

And YOU continue to miss the point too.

Okay, I'll go point by point.

I'm not sure I'm expressing myself well. Let me try simplifying it a little.

P.S. - I enjoy watching a good option team run the ball. I find it entertaining.
Eddie

They won't win running a triple option/flexbone offense. There's a reason you

An offensive wrinkle of any kind, like the triple option would be an improvement

Cuz the offense now is so exciting to watch.

I think the scheme we have is fine. Execution of the scheme is severely lacking.

Wishbone might be better than our current offense: the wishprayer.

Two things:

Ken was an option QB in college and has pretty much only coached at Navy

I don’t think Hawaii ran the triple option. And you do realize that coaching at

His coach at Hawaii was Bob Wagner and they threw the ball plenty. Go look at

But yes, Johnson was offensive coordinator.

Paul was the OC. In Ken's SR year, HI ran 50 times per game vs 24 passes/game

My point stands — wasn’t a triple option offense.

I doubt he’d run the wishbone...

yes he would. He's been coaching it for 20 years.

I wouldn't mind Niumatalolo as HC with Paul Peterson as OC running HIS offense.

This exactly. Let Ken run the team, let a young coordinator help architect the

I would go for this, but I would also go for Ken running the flexbone at BYU.

I don't cheer for BYU because of the offense they run. That would be silly.
Eddie

I can see it, though. "Throwing" was a HUGE part of our identity. I liked it.

Identity used to be winning too. I'll take "winning" over "throwing" identity.
