Was it Gurney who made the point that USC's success last week was with
short drops and quick passes - blitzing isn't the way to defend that. Where the USC QB had difficulty was when he had to read the coverage and make longer passes.
We're going to be rushing 3 a lot, I think, and hope that disguised coverages will make the QB hesitate and make mistakes.
