Smoke that BYU might be joining a conference after 2026?

Maybe together with Boise?

Starting in 2027, the remaining 8 games of the new 10-game BYU-Boise St series will be played in the month of September each year.

That to me, looks like two programs making sure they have flexible scheduling to go into a new league when the next realignment wave happens.
