There are so many different ways to prepare oatmeal that I find it interesting that you don't like any of them.

The problem with the brussel sprouts is the method of preparation. They're not that great steamed.

Pasta itself, or are there specific pasta dishes/sauces you don't like? For example, marinara is ok, but not alfredo.

The pasta itself. It just feels like mush in my mouth and the thought of eating it bores me to death
