at least an honest reaction (and then move on). A minute's work:
"The NCAA's decision in this case is biased, arbitrary and antithetical to its purported mission. We are shocked that an organization that pretends to be concerned about the student-athlete and fair competition would punish this student-athlete, this team and this University with a nine game suspension for what amounts to a mishandling of paperwork in the application of a new rule during a time period when the University was between basketball coaching staffs. To issue a nine game suspension in this case--almost a third of the regular season--is unwarranted and unfair, especially in light of the now well-documented egregious examples of cheating and academic fraud engaged in by coaches and universities across this country that have resulted in little or no consequences. This University is no longer going to simply remain silent when subjected to such outrageous abuses of power that is too often wielded primarily against those schools with little power and influence. The NCAA's decision in this case is a travesty."
