superstar is probably both the hardest, AND most important part of team building, they were able to land two top-10 players while keeping an extremely talented core around them.
I agree that the Pelicans and Jazz had terrific offseasons, but what the Clippers did was nearly unprecedented. The only teams that have done anything close would be the Heat in 2011 (landing LeBron and Bosh), and the Cavs in 2015 (LeBron and Love), but in both of those cases, they A) had a superstar on board already to help lure the other players and B) had to pretty much strip down their rosters to accomodate the stars. The Clips landed George and Kawahi without doing either of those things.
Great job by them.
