We were successful in the late 70s and the early 80s because we had introduced a brand of football that CFB hadn't yet seen, wasn't prepared for and couldn't really defend. That advantage carried us through the natty and got us a whole bunch of attention - and recruiting traction - nationwide.
You can't replicate that. There is no way to reproduce that formula.
