Beef = your choice. I prefer to use top sirloin. About two pounds of enough for 5 adults.
Slice the beef into bite size pieces. I prefer to slice them long and thin, it helps with cooking them, imo.
Place sliced beef into a crock pot, add the following:
1 cup Hot Water
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
2 TBSP minced garlic
Stir until sugar is completely dissolved
Turn crock pot to warm for 3 hours or 1 hour 45 minutes on high.
Remove 1 cup of liquid and add 2 TBSP corn starch mix and add back to beef.
Steam 2 pounds of broccoli. If frozen, steam until thaw + 2 minutes. Add to beef.
For the rice, I just use minute rice (follow directions but I add butter and garlic to taste)
Serve the beef and broccoli over the rice.
My kids love this, and they always eat the broccoli first.
