people came running in from the street saying there was a tornado. After it passed, we drove down the street. There were branches everywhere, the front doors of the Nauvoo Family Hotel had blown off their hinges, part of the roof of a house across the street had been taken off, and power was out for part of the town (including the little annex hotel we were staying in that night) but that was all. This happened before the temple had been reconstructed.
