For one, with the suicide rates, I notice that it looks a lot like a population
density map. States with the highest populations appear to have the lower suicide rates. I wonder if "per capita" is a good measure of suicide risk. In states with lower populations, a single completed suicide will raise the per capita rate more than it will in states with lots of people.
