I just don’t see this as a huge indictment about the east vs the west. He took a horrible team to the finals in the east. Obviously the west is harder. But OP is making it sound like he can’t even get a similarly bad team to the playoffs in the west. Which he would’ve done easily were it not for his month+ injury.
