BYU's QB recruiting right now is basically for the next time the job is open again barring injuries/transfers to the Wilson/Hall combo.....years down the road.......and you're going to want 5 or 6 QBs in the mix to compete for that open slot when it comes up. And you're going to want a couple of those 5 or 6 to be athletes that can play other positions if they don't win the QB battle - He fills one of those slots. So you start collecting now. And in the meantime, all the young QBs that are here right now that are deeper than Critchlow on the depth chart are probably going to transfer or switch positions and all that will clean up by the time Cooper's home. So you can offer him, you can offer a few others down the road in anticipation of that next battle. And may the best man win.
