well, listens to coaches, doesn't smart off, has kept his grades up, he goes to all open gyms, etc. He's probably the best guard they have. He was hands down a better player then several players that did make it. My sisters family is all about accountability and not blaming others when things go wrong, but this one was tough. We've had to tell our nephew that he didn't fail, it was just a bad decision. But yeah the worst part of the whole situation was the coach didn't even have the courtesy of talking to him beforehand. He found out by seeing the team list posted on the coaches door. Not cool. So, since "basketball is life", theyre now looking for new interests and hobbies. He keeps asking to go skydiving. He will play on a city rec league basketball team for fun. Just sad. Dreary day.
