Sorry if you're already tired of hearing about my Yewt coworkers. It's really just one of them now who continutes to foam at the mouth while others have backed away and moved on. This guy fits the old stereo type of BYU hater first and Yewt second.

So I arrived to work this morning and saw an email with "BYU Dirty!" in the subject line. There were some youtube links to videos from years ago like the Memphis brawl and those old punches and stuff against Boise State and a few others.

I talked to him later in the day and he kept asking me if I saw the vidoes and why BYU is so dirty, and I tried to explain that the Utes have way more penalities and targetting calls now and that the stuff he sent me was from years ago. He denied it and said BYU's culture will never change, and then he went way put there and brought up the Emery punch. I'm not kidding, he knows more about BYU than his own team.

He looked surprised when I told him college football is supposed to be fun and about friendly rivalries, to just try and enjoy the rest of the season and to give the game next week a chance next week.

So yes, this tired old narrative about BYU/Mormons are dirty at sports continues to get pushed out there despite evidence to the exact contrary.
