Agreed, I wasn't thinking of the current ones sitting in the $10k bracket. With enough searching you could find
a descent e38 for under $10k and then have a few thousand (maybe even up to $4k) to spend on maintenance. I think you could get a good daily out of then.
But I'm well aware of what you are getting into.
I personally would rather have the BMW V12 in an 850i 6-speed though. I'd love that.
I keep it on the list partly for the V12.
I've had a dozen V8s, I kinda want to try something else.
