higher priced seats on the west are more sophisticated and polite and engage in some mild joking and don't get too uptight if a little bit is dished back. They are smart enough to understand that half of their section is comprised of LDS people that they might know from work or other social settings, and they mind their manners for the most part for obvious social reasons. My experiences in the lower priced sections have a lot of people who think it socially okay to say whatever they like, and many are crude, vulgar etc. and seem to want to take the opportunity to vent their dislike of the LDS religion on the BYU fans. Each fan base has their allocation of boorish people, but at RES there is a larger concentration of the anti-LDS and coupled with some alcohol, lose their sense of decency.
