But we loved Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera, etc. The white cities of Andalusia were beautiful.

One of the big highlights was we were in Sevilla during Feria - which is their big week-long festival.

Also on the north we were impressed by the beauty all along the north. We stayed at a hotel right on the beach in Santander which was gorgeous. A Coruna was stunning.

We also stayed in 3 Paradores: Arcos de la Frontera, Tortosa, and Olite. So glad we did that.

I learned about El Camino de Santiago de Compostela before going so it took on special meaning when we went there.

As far as in central - you can't go wrong with Avila, Segovia, Toledo and the main highlights in Madrid.
