I know not all teachers are great, or even good, but I know a ton of teachers

that put a lot into improving their craft. It's not like they just create a lesson plan for a year and rinse, repeat year after year (in all cases). The ones that are putting a lot into it should get recognized for that extra work as it translates into teaching excellence.
