Blue Plate Special Milton Friedman's idiot fanboy
I’ve not seen No Country in a long time. I loved the book.
But “There will be blood” imo is a movie in a category unto itself. It’s the only movie I watched and immediately started watching again after it ended. The acting, cinematography, writing, music, pacing, etc was fantastic by itself, but the philosophy they incorporated was especially engaging to me. This article I think does a good job describing some of the points I liked about the movie. It’s not a perfect interpretation, but it makes some good points.
