That's an awful example. A 2-year GA got promoted to LB coach, and then
spent two years at DBs and special teams, and then got the DC title, likely heavily supervised by Bronco from the start, and as we know, he eventually took over at times.
Whatever we have to say about Howell, at least he worked his way up as a college coach. Not even close to hiring a 50 yr old with no college experience at all.
