Absolutely agree. I remember when the C-5 came out, it cost $40,000 and could

compete performance-wise with exotic supercars that cost 3x as much. Corvette made it possible for millions of relatively non-wealthy guys to afford a true sports car with legit performance. If I ever do buy a sports car, odds are 90 percent that it will be a Corvette.
