speaking of those kids that were pressured to come to BYU who may not be fully committed. When their heart is not committed to the program (including the unique BYU environment) than I believe these players are at risk of low moral, possibly even HC violations as well as creating "chemistry" issues in the locker room. I can think of some players over the years that appeared to suffer from not being fully invested in the BYU program. Many of them left for other programs around the country.
Guys like the Jeurgens brothers appeared to be fully invested (but not necessarily NFL quality). I liked their attitudes and work ethic. They were leaders on and off the field. They were great representatives of what BYU stands for. But, they were not standout NFL receivers.
I agreed with Bronco when he said it and when Sitake recently said they want kids who WANT to be at BYU.
