Not sure your point, there is not gloom here at all. Simply stating we did not have a P5 schedule that is often mentioned. Is not pretending we have have P5 schedule "glooom"? I agreed we performed well against the P5 schedule last year, noting it was against bad teams. The year prior we had a similar situation but we did play Michigan (who was good) and it was a rough game.
Nobody is lamenting anything, simply noting we do not have a P5 caliber schedule. Is it better than we had a G5, in most years yes.....it is improved. Apologies if it hurt your feelings that I don't want to agree with your line of thinking.
