It is my assertion that QB's need to have a healthy foot to practice throwing. And you are saying that he didn't have much practice coming off of his mission before starting as a true freshman, correct?

Taysom arrived at BYU in January. So he went through spring camp, offseason workouts, summer throwing workouts, etc. Not quite "fresh off a mission and now starting" without any throwing practice due to rehabbing an injured foot.
It was a great win against USU. Though I think if we had the same 6 point scoring output on Friday, people would be pretty upset and wouldn't see it as all that great. (In spite of that USU team being better than this one.)
