Look, no one will deny how bad the offense has been. It's not even debatable. It's bad.
Most people expected us to lose to the teams we've lost to, that's not the problem... we should have been able to at least move the ball between the 20's, get some yards, put together some drives where it looked like our guys had a clue. It hasn't happened.
Ty clearly overestimated (along with all the other coaches on the team as near as I can tell) what our players are capable of executing against good D1 talent.
But laying *all* on the feet of Ty is a stretch.
We are lacking talent. The receivers have been very disappointing. It's really the first year of running the system Ty's wanted to run. New QB in the system, that didn't even play last game.
Not making excuses, just stating fact. I'm not sure how the best OC in college football would have fared under these circumstances TBH. Better? Probably? Significantly better? That's debatable.
This season is going to remain a rough sled. Give Ty time. Be patient.
