I am an AT&T cell phone customer and I just received notice of a new trial program where I can get Directv Now, AT&T's video streaming service and they won't count the data I use to stream their video service toward my data plan (Sling TV is owned by Dish Network, not DirecTv). This makes DirecTv Now effectively less expensive than any other live tv streaming service becuase I don't need to pay for data on my phone, giving the entrenched player a significant advantage over competing services.
