I don't care about some great player who shows what can be done. Good heaven's there are many, many example of shifty WRs who can beat coverage without being super fast or super strong....last time I checked none of them were wearing a BYU uniform.
As I have said before....LSU has a proven track record of producing NFL caliber DBs. BYU has not had a legit NFL caliber WR since....Collie? Hoffman?? Mathews is still trying to make an NFL roster, I guess and so is Pearson....we shall see.
I would love to see Jonah and Co making Tanner look like the NFL draft pick he could be against LSU. History says that they will get jammed at the line and thrown off their routes over and over and we will need the TEs and RBs to be the safety blankets for Tanner to make completions. Let's revisit this topic after the LSU game and I will be happy to applaud your insight when our WRs destroy LSU.
