*At least Anchorage. Interior is just too cold for the same reasons Arizona is too hot. There are just some extremes that you can't recreate in. 120 in Arizona, and -55 in interior Alaska.
But Anchorage doesn't get THAT cold. And there is way more to do in the winter and summer in Anchorage than in Arizona. Arizona does have some nice spots, but all of them are at least two hours from this beige he(ck).
And while less clothes is nicer than more clothes (on some people), you can always put more clothes on, but you can't always take more clothes off. 120 degrees buck naked is still dang hot.
And you mention you prefer daylight: well when it's nice in Arizona, you have 8 hours of daylight. When it's nice in Alaska, you have 20 hours of daylight.
