HankIsY Walk-on
Story about a lady taking fear of germs on a toilet to a new extreme.
Family moved in nearby my old home, I was outside in the yard when the moving truck pulled up. Like a good LDS Elder, I walked over after a few minutes and offered some help, let them know that I could even call the Elders President to round some people up. Guy looked at me, straight off said "No, my wife doesn't like strangers in the house, carrying our personal stuff." I replied that it was fine with me, and welcomed him to the neighborhood, and secretly was glad I was off the hook. He had a crew of apparently vetted and approved people helping, so not a big deal. A while later I see him carrying out a toilet from the house. I thought, that's strange, must have been broken. Then, another toilet gets carried out. Two broken toilets? Not likely. And then another. You get the idea, all of them were being removed. I didn't want to be a nosy neighbor and go over and ask, but I was curious. Fortunately another neighbor came walking by and spoke to the guy. After a minute the guy must have noticed my neighbor looking at the toilets and mentioned that his wife couldn't stand the thought of using a toilet that some stranger had used. Apparently changing the toilet seat wasn't enough, the entire toilet had to go. Strange. Buying a new house is expensive enough, but this guy had to shell out a few hundred dollars to change all the toilets in the house. I guess whatever it takes to maintain peace in the marriage.

In reference to the original post, I've was Scoutmaster long enough, and used enough Boy Scout Camp toilets, that nothing fazes me. I had a good laugh at some of the extremes people go to when doing a #2. But this lady has to be the winner in toilet phobia.
