that are bothered by the Millennial discussion. Firstly, your comments are very well thought out, insightful, and articulate. So thank you for that. Secondly, I agree with everything you said. I'm not about playing the blame game and trying to pin the world's problems on one generation or another. I think that's unproductive and pointless.
I only take issue when people try to paint the entire Millennial generation as a mindless, unmotivated, air-headed generation. This is the only part of the discussion that bothers me. I tried to make this point in my post here:

I think one of the reasons why this bothers me so much is that Millennials grow up hearing about how their generation is full of mindless texting air heads, who never move out of their parents basement. After a while those things really start to affect people and it becomes easy to slip into those stereotypes, because that's what everyone expects anyway. I'm a Millennial and I've been surrounded by peers that are highly motivated and are nothing at all like these ridiculous stereotypes that have unfortunately become so prevalent.
