there IS a universal mormon culture. Of course there are differences, but there are a lot more similarities than differences.

I do find that there are two universal groups that get under my skin:
Group 1) Pretentious sunday mormons that don't understand the purpose of the gospel and look down their nose at people around them
Group 2) People who let group 1 cloud their view of what the church is really all about.

Both are guilty of the same sins: shallow-thinking and selfishness.

BTW I think we all fall into group 1 & 2 at various points in our lives.
