expense of the majority's. Most arguments I see in support of getting rid of Bronco have nothing to do with P5 status and everything to do with a combination of the following:
1. Inability to replicate the success of previous G5 programs with much less history, branding, and infrastructure than BYU (i.e. Utah, TCU, and BSU).
2. Yearly inexplicable losses.
3. Mediocre to weak record against rivals, particularly over last 5 years.
4. Stubbornness to the point of hurting the team (eg Riley situation, grit trumps talent, etc).
5. Poor game planning, scheming, in game adjustments, and clock management.
6. Bizarre personality, esp. as it relates to interactions and relationships with media and fans.
7. A perceived attitude (even if not real) that national football success and player NFL development is frankly unimportant.
8. Head scratching coaching hires.
I feel like I could go on, but these reasons are just a few that have to do primarily with Bronco, not P5 status, and they are certainly understandable reasons for the discontent with Bronco.
