Sat at many practices with Thurl. He was always gracious, open, and funny. He spent an hour one night talking about the last play of the NC State national championship game. It was kind of remarkable to hear an account of it from a player on the court.

All that to say...Brendan won't play for BYU, but his dad is a great guy.
