However, I believe their chance of success is more likely than someone only marginally talented, but better knows the game through years of experience. If you are USC or Oregon, you maybe don't benefit as much from taking these risks (You can often get physically gifted players with experience at USC/Oregon, but BYU doesn't get many superior athletes with experience, so this is an opportunity for BYU to get potentially superior athletes and teach them the game), but a program like BYU can really benefit from it.
