I consider the source on all content that I read on the internet.
I think that is a better approach than trying to divorce myself from the source and judge what is presented without extrinsic verification.

And I do generally believe the facts presented from the bigger news sites, but then I try to identify the spin on how the info is being presented. When those big sites screw up on the facts they take heat (which is why they employ fact checkers), whereas when smaller or the further out sites just get ignored cause nobody expects any better.
