I am trying to imagine this.

First of all, the film could be called "Yewters."

Shooter Flatch (the alcoholic played by Dennis Hopper in Hoosiers) could be played by just about any yewt fan perfectly. This is the easiest role to fill and cast.

I guess there'd be a Rick Majerus/Norman Dale character, but instead of having the conditioning drills, he'd have the players do defensive "measurement" drills and he'd poop in a towel.

And in the end, Kentucky would beat them in the finals, so it wouldn't quite follow the Hoosiers story exactly.

There has got to be a way to get Marshall Henderson into the flick, but I can't pin down his proper role. Same with Tim Frost (maybe as a cheerleader).

Gordon Monson could play the role of the barber. Jim Boylen could play the George character.

Chris Hill kind of looks like Preacher Purl, but that isn't a good fit.
