I agree it seems like a win-win. They lose to BYU, it's to a difficult"P-5 team"
If they win, it makes the win look better.
The only downside would be if they setup BYU to have some kind of court case to be included in Playoff revenue because everyone considers them a p-5 team even if they don't pay us. That seems kind of pie-in-the-sky and very future though
