UConn: Casey Cochran was terrible and quit football, Chandler Whitmer had his 2nd worst game of the year.
Texas: Tyrone Swoopes had his 2nd worst game of the year
Virginia: Greyson Lambert had his 2nd worst game of the year (was knocked out of the game). Matt Johns had his 4th best game of the year (out of 7)
Houston: John O'Korn had his second best game of the year. However, he was really good last year too.
USU: Garretson played lights out--but he did the same thing to Air Force too. (Confounded by Injuries)
Central Florida: Justin Holman had his third best game of the year (out of 6). (Confounded by injuries)
Nevada: Cody Fajardo had his third best game of the year (out of 7) (Confounded by injuries)
Looks to me like the team struggled with Houston (like they did last year), then the injuries happened. The defense has been horrible, but you can't factor out the confounding effects of injuries. BYU looked great against UConn and Texas and Virginia was a very solid win.
