Yes. I remember Bryan Kehl taking about the 4th and 18 game against Utah.
He mentioned how we called time out before that play and the crowd started chanting "B-Y-U, B-Y-U, B-Y-U". He said that he looked around the stadium and saw everyone standing and cheering and it was at that moment he looked at his teammates and said, "We can do this."

Would we have still won without the fans that day? Maybe, but it absolutely does impact the team.

The players feed off of the intensity and want the noise on defense. Unfortunately, our players have to spend most the game encouraging our fans to cheer on defense and quieting them on offense.
