I've never been to Fayetteville, and I'm curious what it's like living there as an active LDS family. Could someone who lives or has lived there help with the following:
- How does it compare in culture/demographics to other "southern" states? (Is it "deep south" living, or more mid-western culture?)
- Arkansas has a stigma (for some) of being "back woods" and of being filled with "rednecks." Is this accurate of Washington county? ...of the rest of the state?
- What is the weather like? It seems - on paper - like one of the more moderate weather climates in the U.S. (All four seasons, mild winters, manageable summers)
- How is the healthcare? Are there high-quality hospitals? Does the U of AR have a medical school/hospital?
- What are the major disadvantages/challenges to living there?
- What are your favorite things about living there?
