Just what BYU needs: Break new ground by hiring the first ever
head coach in a national football program during the modern football era who (a) never played college football and (b) didn't first prove his talents at a lower tier college football program. And who, additionally, is not a BYU alumnus.
I hope Nick blows it up this year and does great as a DC but right now he should be about twelfth in line to the next HC spot at BYU behind Sitake, 2J, and nine guys I can't name but who at least played college football.
